1. Know Your Limits: Payload & Towing Guidelines

Before loading up at the supply yard or nursery, always check your vehicle’s gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) and payload capacity.

• Payload vs. Towing: Remember that payload includes everything in the bed plus passenger weight inside the cab.
• Preventing Strain: Overloading can compromise braking capability and place unnecessary strain on your vehicle’s suspension and tires. Keeping within manufacturer guidelines ensures optimal performance and safety.
