Family Festivals & Events on the South Coast and Beyond

Cooler mornings, festival food, and weekends filled with things to do… FALL has officially entered the group chat.

If your family is ready to trade “What should we do this weekend?” for an actual plan, we’ve rounded up seven fall events around Wareham, the South Coast, and Cape Cod. From waterfront celebrations and classic cars to farm animals and jousting knights, there’s something for every kind of outing.

Cape Cod Canal Day

September 19, 2026 | 10 a.m.–5 p.m.

A waterfront setting, food trucks, shopping, and entertainment make Cape Cod Canal Day an easy addition to your September plans.

This free, family-friendly event features vendors and artisans, a 5K, and a dog costume parade. Whether your crew wants to browse, grab lunch, or cheer on some impressively dressed pups, you can make the day your own. The announced rain date is September 20.

Onset Harvest Moon Festival

September 26, 2026 | 10 a.m.–4 p.m.

Here’s one practically in Robertson’s backyard! The Onset Harvest Moon Festival combines a classic car show, more than 100 vendors, food trucks, and live music.

Naturally, the car show caught our attention—but there’s plenty for the whole family to enjoy. Browse the booths, choose something delicious, and take in the music around the bandshell.

Free parking and shuttle service are available from 3005 Cranberry Highway. The rain date is September 27.

Lakeville Arts & Music Festival

For families who enjoy music, handmade finds, and community events, the Lakeville Arts & Music Festival is worth a spot on the calendar.

The Lakeville Arts Council’s annual celebration brings together art, music, food, performers, and crafters. Trevor the Juggler is also scheduled for the 2026 festival, with an interactive performance combining juggling, comedy, and audience participation.

Angers Conway Farm Fall Festival & Car Show

October 3, 2026 | 11 a.m.–6 p.m.  Lakeville

Farm animals for the kids, antique cars for the enthusiasts, and hayrides for everyone? That’s a pretty strong family outing.

Angers Conway Farm’s Fall Festival & Arthur Conway Memorial Car Show will feature live music, face painting, children’s crafts and activities, food, drinks, and vendors. The farm is celebrating 106 years of farming in Lakeville, giving this event a meaningful local connection.

The rain date is October 17.
