2022 GMC SIERRA 1500 – TRIM LEVELS AND MORE

For 2022, the GMC Sierra 1500 sees some significant improvements, including a new interior, upgraded powertrains, and two new models: the ultra-luxury Denali Ultimate and off-road capable AT4X. There are now a total of eight (8) different trim levels and price points to choose from. As you can see, there are many choices when it comes to GMC trucks. They are as follows….

2022 GMC Sierra 1500 Pro

The most basic of the Sierra GMC trucks for sale is anything but plain. The Pro trim includes a powerful 310-horsepower 2.7-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that produces an impressive 420 lb-ft of torque. A 5.3-liter V8 and 10-speed automatic transmission are optional, as is 4-wheel drive (4WD).

2022 GMC Sierra 1500 SLE

The SLE is a true beauty. This version offers more standard features than the base Pro trucks for sale and more optional equipment to boot. Just like the Pro, the SLE comes standard with a 2.7-liter turbocharged engine. Unlike the Pro, it only comes in Double Cab and Crew Cab and offers an additional engine option beyond the 5.3-liter V8: a 3.0-liter Duramax diesel.

2022 GMC Sierra 1500 Elevation

The Elevation is an awesome trim package that builds off the standard and available equipment from the SLE. It includes a monochromatic exterior, a gloss black grille, and unique black 20-inch wheels. Additional Elevation features include LED fog lights and a high capacity suspension. Optional upgrades include the Elevation Premium Package. It includes black leather upholstery, heated front bucket seats, a wireless charging pad, and an up-level rear seat with storage.

2022 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT

The SLT package provides drivers with a premium version that offers a luxury feel, builds off the SLE and Elevation with even more features and a wider range of powertrain options. The SLT is only available in Crew Cab configuration, with a short or standard bed. The 5.3-liter V8 is standard, with the 3.0-liter Duramax diesel or 420-horsepower 6.2-liter V8 optional.

2022 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4

The AT4 is a more rugged version of the SLT trim, with some amazing off-road upgrades and visual styling cues that make it the perfect choice for drivers who enjoy off-road trips. However, if you’re looking for a severe off-road champion, you’ll want to move to the new AT4X trim.

2022 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4X

Building off the AT4, the all-new AT4X ups the off-road capability with an even more robust suspension, a 420-horsepower 6.2-liter V8 engine, and more standard and optional equipment.

2022 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali

The Denali is the ultimate pickup truck. It includes all of the SLT’s standard equipment, and adds even more features such as an adaptive suspension for a softer ride, perforated leather seats, open-pore wood trim, and a 15-inch diagonal color head-up display. The 7-speaker Bose audio system comes standard, as does the HD Surround Vision camera.

2022 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali Ultimate

The Denali Ultimate includes every conceivable option afforded the other Sierra trims, adding features such as a 16-way power heated and ventilated front seats with built-in massage, a 12-speaker Bose Premium audio system, Super Cruise semi-autonomous driving, and a carbon-fiber composite bed. Let’s not forget to mention the full-speed automatic emergency braking, rear camera mirror, power-retractable side steps, and 22-inch wheels.
